Company Today

Today, Benton Brothers (Transport) Ltd employs over 150 personnel at two sites in Sibsey & Immingham. We operate a fleet of 120 6x2 tractive units, all equipped with mobile phones, which are all operated at 44tonnes. The trailer fleet stands at 250, which includes tautliners, sliding roof tautliners, skeletals, low loaders, extenders, coilers and tipping chassis etc. which enables us to carry most types of freight. An International Operators Licence is held and regular transport to EEC countries for existing customers is undertaken. Several vehicles are fully equipped for continental operation. A fleet replacement program ensures that tractor units are replaced every five years and semi-trailers every eight years. All vehicles are painted in the Company's original livery.

Depots

The main centre is Sibsey, near Boston, where there is 750,000 square feet of warehousing, office and maintenance facilities. Another centre is at Rosper Road in Killingholme, near Immingham, which offers the same services that can be found at Sibsey.
